Grillo is a British-made modular system built around marine-grade aluminium, Iroko hardwood, and sintered stone — with 26 modules and 50+ configurable layouts. OVO, from Q-boo by Planika, takes a sleeker, sculptural approach: three ready-designed freestanding sizes (GS at 1.48m, GM at 1.88m, GL at 2.28m) with brushed stainless steel, Dekton® worktops, and integrated three-burner propane grills. Both brands are designed to live outdoors permanently. Grillo uses heavy-gauge marine-grade aluminium, naturally weather-resistant Iroko hardwood, and stainproof sintered stone worktops. OVO kitchens use brushed 304 stainless steel, powder-coated galvanized steel, thermopine wood, and 8mm Dekton® sintered stone that resists scratches, UV, stains, and high temperatures — and every OVO includes a fitted waterproof cover for extra protection.

In most cases, no. Both Grillo and OVO outdoor kitchens are freestanding and don’t require foundations, making them suitable for patios, terraces, decking, and most outdoor surfaces. Planning permission is rarely needed, but we’ll advise you during the consultation if your setup requires it.

Most installations are completed in a single day. Both systems are designed for efficient assembly with no groundwork, so you’ll be cooking outdoors sooner than you might think.

Grillo offers 7 BBQ and cooking options including gas, electric, charcoal, wood-burning grills, and pizza ovens. The OVO and Q-boo ranges offer integrated grills, ovens, kamado-style ceramic cookers, sinks, and fridge modules. Whichever brand you choose, we’ll configure the cooking setup around how you like to cook.
